Headlights are very critical components of any vehicle and they are your eyes during nights, so it is important to ensure that they are in perfect working condition. But the whole lighting system is an assembly of bulb, power chords, lens and the transparent cover and if any part of such headlight assemblies is faulty then it means that the entire system is not reliable and you can not expect better visibility during any, mist, fog or over cast conditions.
For the headlight to provide perfect lighting, it is necessary that all the components of the headlight assembly work in perfect condition. If you are not comfortable with the light then you do not always need to replace the entire kit, sometimes there may be some loose connections of power chords and hence you might be getting the blinking effects. In such cases, you just need to go to the auto workshop where it can easily be rectified.
Similarly, if the lens has become discolored or milky, then also you just need to change the lens and everything will be in fine condition. If the cover has got some scratches then you need to change the cover only.
